When the whispers start,

when the eyes roll,
when they twist your name into something smaller—
pause.

Remember: people do not waste hatred on what is forgettable.

People only target what moves something in them.
What challenges their comfort.
What reminds them of what they gave up on.

You are not hated because you are weak.
You are hated because you are effective.
Because you dared to dream in public.
Because your light revealed the dust in places they wanted to keep dark.

Every rumor, every dismissal, every sneer—
it’s a backhanded compliment from those still chained to fear.

Do not drink their poison or make your heart a courtroom for their judgments.
Instead, let their bitterness become your proof:
You made an impact.
You disrupted something false.
You woke up something sacred.

Even their hatred is a form of acknowledgment.
A confession that they felt you.
That your presence rearranged the air.

So keep walking, shoulders back, eyes steady.
You are not here to be liked.
You are here to matter.
And you already do.
