Dear Survivor,

Every time you say no without explaining,
Every time you choose your peace over their chaos,
Every time you stop entertaining what no longer honors you—
someone is going to call it an attitude.

Let them.

Let them call it what they need to.
Because what you know, deep in your bones, is this:
That’s not attitude.
That’s boundaries.

And boundaries are not cruelty.
They are clarity.
They are protection.
They are love in action—for yourself.

The more you protect your joy, your rest, your time, your heart—
the more they will say you’re being difficult.
But you weren’t put on this earth to keep betraying yourself just to make other people comfortable.

You weren’t put here to explain your worth to people who only value what they can control.

So no, you’re not being rude.
You’re being rooted.
Rooted in your truth.
Rooted in your healing.
Rooted in your right to peace without permission slips.

They may not like it.
They may not understand it.
And that’s okay.

Because your boundaries are not up for debate.
They are sacred.
They are earned through pain, reflection, and wisdom.
They are your birthright.

Keep holding the line.
Keep reclaiming your time.
Keep trusting your no.
You don’t owe softness to what has tried to harm you.
You owe loyalty to your healing.

Let them call it attitude.

You’ll know it was your freedom.
