These affirmations are for the Survivor who has had to become her own safety, her own sanctuary, her own rescue.
These words are not about pretending the harm didnât happen.
-
No one showed me howâbut I became safety. I became sanctuary. I became mine.
-
I protect my peace like a sacred flame. What harms me can no longer live here.
-
I no longer wait for others to make me feel safe. I do that for myself nowâwith fierce love and gentle hands.
-
When I breathe deeply, when I set boundaries, when I say noâI am building my own safe place.
-
I donât have to earn rest, tenderness, or love. In my presence, I am always welcome.
-
I am allowed to stop surviving and start living. My nervous system deserves peace.
-
I donât shrink to make others feel powerful anymore. I donât tolerate what wounds me.
-
I am no longer a hiding place for secrets, shame, or sorrow. I am a home where truth can breathe.
-
Even on hard days, I show up for myself. Even when Iâm scared, I listen with care.
-
I keep promises to myself now. I choose meâfully, deeply, and unapologetically.
-
What I never received, I now offer myself. Love. Belief. Forgiveness. Safety.
-
I am the first safe place Iâve ever knownâand I will never abandon myself again.
You werenât supposed to have to do it alone.
But you did.
You built trust where betrayal lived.
You planted peace where chaos tried to grow roots.
You became the one person you could rely onâand that is something sacred.
You are not too late to be held.
You are not too difficult to be loved.
You are not too broken to be home to yourself.
You are the place where healing happens.
Where softness lives.
Where truth is safe to speak.
You are the first safe place youâve ever known.
