A declaration for the Survivor who has outgrown invisibility.

There was a time I whispered, hoping someone would hear.
A time I stood still, hoping someone would notice.
A time I bent myself into the shape of what others could handleβ€”
just to be seen, heard, believed.

But I’m done waiting to be visible in places that require me to disappear.

β€œI am no longer waiting for them to see me.
I see myself now.”

I see the parts of me that survived when no one was watching.
I see the courage that stayed soft while holding everything together.
I see the beauty in the way I chose truth, again and again, even when it cost me connection.

Some people only recognize you when you are small.
But I was never meant to live curled up in apology.

So let me be clear:

  • I will not shrink so others can stay comfortable.

  • I will not silence myself to preserve someone else’s version of me.

  • I will not remain invisible just to keep the peace that harmed me.

β€œI am worthy of being seen in my fullnessβ€”my boundaries, my brilliance, my becoming.”

I was not created to be everyone’s mirror.
I was created to shine, even if it blinds those still hiding.

I do not need permission to exist out loud.
I do not need approval to walk in clarity.
I do not need acknowledgment to honor my own truth.

I am no longer waiting for the world to catch up.
I have already arrived.
