I seen sunlight learn to dance through the storm’s language…….

There’s a rhythm in the rubble that don’t need approval,
joy in the smoke when the night tries to null it,
they call it resilience, but it’s deeper than survival—
it’s a choir in the chest refusing final.

I watched it in kitchens where the grief got loud,
still plates got passed like a prayer through the crowd,
still somebody cracked a joke that rewrote the room,
like “nah, we still here”—that’s a different kind of bloom.

Black joy ain’t fragile, it’s forged in the pressure,
not a mood, it’s a movement, a multi-layered treasure,
and the tears don’t cancel the shine when it’s present,
they just sharpen the edge of the love in the essence.

And the anger? yeah—it’s part of the flame design,
not to burn it all down, but to define the line,
between silence and truth, between loss and demand,
it’s the hand that says “see me” when the world won’t stand.

So the light don’t escape it, it learns how to stay,
in the middle of chaos it still finds a way,
in America’s shadow it don’t fade or behave—
it just glows a little louder in the places they made.
