Dear Unbreakable Warriors,

I pen these words to you, warriors of resilience, who have been betrayed by people who you hoped would be loyal to you, especially in your greatest time of need.

You, who have weathered storms of pain and emerged victoriously, I stand tall in awe of your indomitable spirit.

Those who take the side of your abuser, those who choose to close their eyes to your suffering, they are but marionettes swaying to a twisted melody. They tango with ignorance and waltz with naivety, blind to the symphony of your truth. But your truth, your truth, is where honor lives.

Even when others leave you standing all alone, there is power pulsating within your veins. Inside of you is a flame, that ignites so fierce it will consume the darkness and crown you with triumph.

I encourage you to shake off the doubt that arises from those who fail to stand with us. Rise above the ashes of betrayal and claim your righteous throne, for you are the embodiment of resilience and your voice, an effective and impactful weapon of change.

Know that you are not alone.

In the lineage of souls who have grappled with shadows cast by abusers, the echoes of Maya Angelou’s poetic resilience resonate deeply within our beings. She taught us that despite the scars we bear, we rise, we rise, we rise!
