L esson: Embrace Your Own Pace
At the New Orleans Pelicans’ baby crawl race, some babies zoomed across the floor, while others took their sweet time—some even stopped to play! I watched this video so many times.
I loved the baby who won, of course, but I loved seeing the other little ones too. Whether they "won" or not, they are loved and brought smiles to the faces of the crowd in the arena and those of us who watched the video on repeat.
(Then made other people watch too. 😃)
Here’s the takeaway: In life, just like in that race, there’s no one “right” pace. Whether you’re racing ahead or taking it slow, slowing down to enjoy the scenery, or hanging along the sidelines to enjoy loved ones, what matters most is that you keep moving forward—at your own speed, in your own style.
Your level of 'productivity' does not determine your value as a human being.
**So, take a lesson from the crawling champs: Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s.
Keep moving, keep exploring, and most importantly—enjoy the ride!
P.S. Gratitude and appreciation to the camera crew-great shots!
Thanks also to the families and, of course, the little ones.
