I'm a master of messing up, and a ninja of new beginnings!
You may never get an apology....
You may never get justice.....
But you must, forgive yourself.
It seems that some of the meanest and cruelest people live for a very long time. Meanwhile, other folks, good people... acquire stress-related diseases and conditions.
The truth is less compassionate and empathetic people don't care about others and therefore don't carry the same concerns.
They are not the people who care what people think of them.
They sleep very well at night.
They are not dealing with indigestion, headaches, or tight muscles.
Little voices don't travel with them telling them that they should not have said the rude things that they said.
That's why. My hope is that you will give yourself the gift of forgiveness.
Release yourself from guilt. From shame. And even from embarrassment. You are human.
A gift from yourself is far better from anything that people who wronged you could ever give you.
I love and accept myself, imperfections and all.
I forgive myself for past mistakes and choose to start fresh.
